PLAIN MOUNT:

Letters with no mounting hardware, Display Letters can be attached to mounting surface with a combination of adhesive or double-faced tape – applied by installer – based on surface and letter weight.

FLUSH STUD:

Thicker letters (min. 1/4" stroke) can be drilled and tapped for stud installation. Specify if studs need to be in line for brick / block mortar joints or rails.

DOUBLE FACED TAPE MOUNT:

Double face tape mount comes with either partial or fully covered backs with a VHB, double faced tape. Volume of tape is based on letter size and gauge. Heavier letters may require tape and adhesive (such as epoxy on acrylic) to properly secure letters. VHB tape is designed for interior, flat, dry wall installations.

Rigid Stencil Guides

Rigid Stencil Guide:

A computer generated, full size cutout, designed for smaller letters, logos or bars. Typically used to install double face tape letters. Guide is taped to wall, letters are set inside cutout and adhered to wall. In some cases where this method will not work a rigid split stencil will be provided instead. Rigid split stencils is a computer generated, partial cutout of bottom portion of the letters above the baseline, plus 2" below the baseline that provides a perfect way to install plain, pad or double face tape flat cut out letters. This split stencil is produced using the same file we use to produce your letters. Gemini layout team will determine if Stencil or Split Stencil is best for your order.

Stud Mount Drill Pattern

Stud Mount Drill Pattern:

Computer generated tracing of letters with hand punched hole locations of studs, printed on 60# white grid paper. Once taped to wall, hole locations are then drilled and filled with adhesive.

Indoor Use Only

Gemini uses 1/8" extruded acrylic sheets that are laminated onto Gemini's rigid high density foam (12 lb./cubic foot) with a 0.030" ABS backer. The proprietary Bern-Lok lamination process is used to adhere the acrylic laminate to the foam substrate using a combination of heat, high pressure and chemical bonding. Once laminated the sheets are CNC precision cut.
