Gemini METAL LAMINATE on ACRYLIC Display Sign Letters

PLAIN MOUNT:

Letters with no mounting hardware, Display Letters can be attached to mounting surface with a combination of adhesive or double-faced tape – applied by installer – based on surface and letter weight.

STUD MOUNT:

Stud blocks are solvent bonded to letter backs to receive a 10-24 stud. These blocks will require the letters to stand-off the mounting surface approximately 3/8" - 1/2". Drilling patterns are required for this installation.

FLUSH STUD:

Thicker letters (min. 3/8" th) can be drilled and tapped for stud installation. Specify if studs need to be in line for brick / block mortar joints or rails.

FCA-STUD FOR BRICK/BLOCK:

Stud blocks are solvent bonded to letter backs to receive a 10-24 stud or on 3/8" or thicker material, drilled and tapped. These blocks will require the letters to stand-off the mounting surface approximately 3/8" - 1/2". Studs are in line for mortar joints of brick or block. Drilling patterns are required for this installation.

FCA-STUD FOR RAIL:

Stud blocks are solvent bonded to letter backs to receive a 10-24 stud or on 3/8" or thicker material, drilled and tapped. These blocks will require the letters to stand-off the mounting surface approximately 3/8" - 1/2". Studs are in line for rails at the distance you specify. Drilling patterns are required for this installation.

PAD MOUNT:

Pads are plastic disks on the rear of the letters. Secure the letters to the wall using a split stencil pattern or spacing tape guide and silicone adhesive. Adjustable or flush pads available upon request.

COMBINATION MOUNT:

Combination of studs and pads. Stud through a pad on the top portion of each letter, pads only on the bottom portion of each letter. Mounting procedure is the same as a Stud Mount with the addition of securing pads to the mounting surface with adhesive. Studs can be aligned in-line for brick or block mortar upon request. Laser cut letters (min. 3/8" th) can be drilled and tapped to receive studs to allow for a flush mounting. Drilling patterns are required for this installation.

COMBINATION ALL:

Combination all mounts have stud through a pad on the top and bottom portion of each letter. Mounting procedure is the same as a Stud Mount. Studs can be aligned in-line for brick or block mortar upon request. Laser cut letters (min. 3/8" th) can be drilled and tapped to receive studs to allow for a flush mounting. Drilling patterns are required for this installation.

DOUBLE FACED TAPE MOUNT:

Double face tape mount comes with either partial or fully covered backs with a VHB, double faced tape. Volume of tape is based on letter size and gauge. Heavier letters may require tape and adhesive (such as epoxy on acrylic) to properly secure letters. VHB tape is designed for interior, flat, dry wall installations.

No Installation Pattern Required:

Installation patterns are highly recommended. Patterns can not be produced once order is shipped.

Spacing Guide:

A visual reference guide, typically used for pad mounted letters. The letters in a specific copy are spelled out and properly spaced on a long pattern table or computer generated. A narrow (approximately 2") piece of paper contains hash marks or plotted lower portions of the letters. Guide is secured to the wall with tape, by the installer, and provides a visual guide for installing letters.

Rigid Stencil Guide:

A computer generated, full size cutout, designed for smaller letters, logos or bars. Typically used to install double face tape letters. Guide is taped to wall, letters are set inside cutout and adhered to wall. In some cases where this method will not work a rigid split stencil will be provided instead. Rigid split stencils is a computer generated, partial cutout of bottom portion of the letters above the baseline, plus 2" below the baseline that provides a perfect way to install plain, pad or double face tape flat cut out letters. This split stencil is produced using the same file we use to produce your letters. Gemini layout team will determine if Stencil or Split Stencil is best for your order.

Stud Mount Drill Pattern:

Computer generated tracing of letters with hand punched hole locations of studs, printed on 60# white grid paper. Once taped to wall, hole locations are then drilled and filled with adhesive.
